Career Advising

This service provides doctoral candidates an opportunity to plan the further course of their career path in a personal advising session and discuss the necessary steps for realizing these plans.
The career advising service is especially geared towards people who wish to pursue a career outside of the university and are looking to apply for potential positions.

Depending on your expectations and individual needs, the advising may serve to help you clarify your goals or simply to make you aware of your own potential so that you can enter the job market with a clear profile. Ms. von Schultzendorff also offers material from the ProfilPASS system, which can be an invaluable tool for identifying your own strengths and bringing them to bear in your career plans (for more information, see www.profilpass.de).

In addition, the career advising service offers general information on various professions and fields of activity which can help you to better assess your chances on the job market.

You are also welcome to bring job application documents for an application check during the advising session.

All advising is done by Ms. Claudia von Schultzendorff.
